Portable electrical test set fitted into wooden case with brass fittings. Test set has bakelite body, brass fittings and seven brass knobs. Monochrome printed and hand-drawn instructions are fixed into the lid. One removable part in the form of a brass tube with brass knob and metal rectangular shaped metal between the two.

Markings: Portable Test Set No. 405 B for Conductivity and Insulation Elliott Brothers London.  Edition number 2512.

The box and system in good condition.  Does not appear to have been opened or tampered with.  The instructions on the lid is legible and undamaged.

It's an early 20th century instrument.
