DESCRIPTION AND CONDITION
DESCRIPTION	A lovely small original oil painting of a sleeping lady on a bicycle passing a coffee shop done by well - known South African artist Elzette Welgemoed. It is done on artist's board (treated canvass on cardboard) which is attached to a square wooden frame. It is thus 'unframed' but ready for hanging in the modern way. The artist signed this work at bottom right and dated it '07. The artwork measures 30 x 30 cm. You can see the painting above and there are 4 more images below. Have a good look at them and ask me a question if there is anything you are unsure about.
CONDITION	This artwork is in excellent 'as new' condition and can be hung as it is.

NOTES
A lovely little painting which is beautifully executed by an excellent and well - known modern South African artist. Her style is called 'creative interpretation of reality'. This painting contains themes which recur in her art - the coffee shop, bicycle and a chicken which appears on so many of her paintings that it has become a 'second signature.'
