A sophisticated equivalent to a bell motor with no pressed metal in sight. The motor body has plenty of quality machined aluminium with a machined back plate. All the machined parts are anodised red, providing a quality look and feel. Looks are not deceiving with this motor - a powerhouse is the only fair way to describe it. I have tested this motor and recorded the following: (tested using a freshly charged FlightPower EVO20 2150 11.1v):
APC 9 x 4.7SF 186W input @ 16.2 Amps
APC 10 x 3.8SF 237W input @ 23 Amps
The manufacturer recommends 9 ? 10 in propellers on a 3s lipo. The figures recorded indicate a relatively high Amp draw on this size of propeller, but in testing the motor did not show signs of distress or excessive heat.
