   The Mountaineer Model can be fitted with 9 different rods and can be used with a Bait Casting Reel, Level Wind Trolling Reel, Close Faced Reel or a Spin Casting Reel. By changing from one ¼ turn quick change rod to another you can change your Pole from one to catch Pan Fry Fish, to one for catching up to 5lb fish then 10lb fish then even bigger up to 25lb, and with the 2-tip rod you can even go up to 50lb fish while using any of the above mentioned reels and the same handle. This handle can be adjusted by loosening a screw with a supplied allen-key and tilting it up or down to suit your grip and the reel and tip option you are using. This is truly a versatile rod, the final rod you wil ever need to buy!

 The rod tip shown above is rated for up to 25lbs fish. The tip can ce exchanged for the casting or two tip rods shown below (these can be puchased as accessories) to make this a very versatile fishing rod suitable for use with open face, baitcasting or spincast reels.

This 2 tip rod (above), is rated for fish up to 50lbs. (Available at R215-00 extra)

Quick Release Quarter Turn Connection:
  All handles and rods are designed with this connection mechanism, and are ALL interchangable. This connection by the turning of 90 degrees allows the user to quickly disassemble the rod from the handle for storage or for changing to another style of rod. The rod is pushed into the end of the handle where a spring is compressed allowing the handle to be rotated 90 degrees into locating slots. The spring then pushes the rod into position locking it in place.
