Encapsulated 2004 Northern Mariana Islands clad proof dollar in box (WTC & Freedom Tower)

2004 Northern Mariana Islands encapsulated proof silver plated bronze/clad dollar (World Trade Center 9/11 and Freedom Tower) as per images in National Colector's Mint box.The One World Trade Center,also known as One WTC and as the Freedom Tower,is the main building of the rebuild World Trade Center complex in lower Manhattan,New York City.Please note the outside of the capsule and box shows some slight marks.

Northern Mariana Islands

The Northern Mariana Islands is situated within the Pacific Oceon between Hawaii and the Phillipines. It consists of a commonwealth of 15 islands, of which three are populated; Saipan, Tinian and Rota. Saipan is regarded as the capital with the majority of the population living on this island. The Northern Mariana Islands is a commonwealth of the United States of America.

One Dollar Freedom Tower Coin

In 2004 the National Collectors Mint issued a one dollar silver plated on bronze coin.The silver used to clad the coin has been recovered from the site of the World Trade Center after the events of 9/11.The coin shows the Freedom Tower at the former World Trade Center on the obverse of the coin. The reverse shows the world trade center with the inscription "we will never forget". Although the coin appears to have the decomination of one dollar it is not classified as a legal tender coin in the U.S.It is a commemorative/novelty issue.
