This is a job lot of all that you see in the picture below.
I will endeavor to describe the movements as well as possible.
The movements and dials/bezel rings and glass can be stripped from the cases to cut down on shipping costs.
Shipping costs to be determined at close of auction when I know where the goods are being sent to.
First up is a clock that was knocked off a cupboard by a cat. The pivot was broken off the escapement shaft. Both springs seem to be ok. The striking train is working. The shaft holding the hands is bent slightly. Although the case has come apart it would be possible to repair it.
The loose movement looks to be the same as those in the cases. It is really dirty, but seems to be complete and in ok condition. Both springs are ok, the striking train goes through its cycle with a little help turning one of the gears lightly, the escapement ticks when moving the pendulum arm manually. Probably the best of the three.
Lastly a case that has seen better days. Veneer and varnish peeling off. The movement appears ok viewed from the rear, no obvious faults. The going spring is good. The striking train has a problem, when winding the drum rotates, the spring is ok, and it is evident that some gears are missing from the gear train. No hands and no pendulums.
