VINTAGE PERIDOT SOLITAIRE 9CT YELLOW GOLD RING WITH WHITE NATURAL TOPAZ FRAME. PRETTY DESIGN! 375
Very pretty ring with gentle colours and a feminine design that I bought from a favourite vintage jeweller in London. A round-faceted peridot solitaire is bezel set in 9ct yellow gold with 16 x small round cut natural white topaz gemstones claw set around the central peridot. The setting of the topaz creates pointed 'rays' surrounding the 'sun', and an open sides feature creates texture and interest. The ring head measures 10mm in diameter, the gemstones sitting fairly flat on the finger. The simple gold shank is narrow under the finger for comfort. It is well hallmarked, including the London Assay mark, the jeweller's signature, and the 375 hallmark indicating 9ct gold. The piece weighs 2,1 grams. A gorgeous pretty ring.
