German Pantograph Engraving Machine 1:1 to 1:100 Scale with Cutter Grinder and Many Accessories
Up for Auction is a used in excellent working Condition with a number of Accessories:
Machine complete with Tools, Two Letter and Number Sets, One Readable and one Mirror for engraving Dies. This Pantograph was used for engraving Plastic Injection Moulds (Tools) with Logos Names and Numbering. It was also extensively used for engraving and Making Copper Electrodes for Spark Erosion. This is a very high precision Industrial Machine for heavy duty work.The motor on the Pantograph and Cutter Grinder is 3 Phase 380 Volt.
The Pantograph can Engrave or Copy 1:1 ratio or can Reduce a Template or Lettering down to as much as 100 times smaller with high precision. The two sets of Letters with the Machine are 20mm High. The Machine can also be used for Milling softer materials such as Plastic Aluminum and Copper. Steel can also be milled but in small cuts. The Collet is for a 6mm Diameter Cutter Shank. The X,Y,Z Scales are graduated by 0.025mm graduations. The Cutting Head feeds down by rotating the thumb lever while ingraving the work piece and the depth is set on the cutting head itself up to 1.00 mm per setting. This machine was purchased in the eighties and in its day was very expensive. Machines of this standard in quality are not produced any longer. The Letter Sets alone will cost over R 3,000.00 per set
