Includes 48 plates of line drawings. For those  interested in wild flowers, particularly orchids. To date 42 species of orchid have been discovered in Southern Africa of which 41 have been taxonomically described and given specific names. On the whole prior to this book there was very little literature available. This illustrated book was created to fulfil the growing demand for more information on all the known species found in Southern Africa south of the Limpopo river.
