345 x 445 mm (excl. frame). Seascape (1950s?).

Provenance: Michael James, Somerset West. Good condition.

Eric Wale was born in 1916. Several works of his works have been sold at auction, including 'Thatched Cottages, Mamre' sold at Stephan Welz & Co., Johannesburg 'Decorative & Fine Arts' in 2013. Also listed in the book, Art & Artists of South Africa by Esme Berman (Balkema, 1974).
