Hardcover first published 1966 by Faber And Faber Limited. The jacket is whole, but edge-worn, and marked and creased in places. The boards are clean, but with some wear to extremities, and the spine is creased longitudinally. Apart from a pen gift inscription on the first end-paper, the pages are clean and unmarked. The fold-out panoramic plate of the Keren battlefield is present, though one edge is foxed and creased where it has extended past the pages.
