Eterna Matic watch

For sale, this original gents Eterna Matic.

This watch is in good working condition and is running well; however, as with most vintage timepieces a service may be required. The water resistance of this watch is not tested or guaranteed. The watch is fitted with an Eterna automatic movement calibre number 1422. It has a central sweep-second hand and a date function. The gold plate on the watch is in fair condition but shows some signs of wearing through on the ends of the lugs.

The watch is 20 micron gold plated has a leather strap fitted (please note, this is a non-Eterna strap).

The dimensions of the watch are as follows:

·         End of top lug to end of bottom lug is 42mm.

·         Diameter of case excluding the crown is 34.1mm.

·         The watch is 18mm between the lugs. I.e. a 18mm strap fits it.

The crown is the original Eterna crown.

This watch is from the 1960’s.
