Eumulgin® (Hydrogenated Castor Oil) - 500g

Eumulgin® CO 40 is a PEG-40 hydrogenated castor oil used as a nonionic O/W emulsifier and/or solubilizer for the production of aqueous cosmetic preparations such as solubilisates and tonics.

Natural wax jelly - Alternative to white petroleum jelly

500g Hydrogenated castor oil

2 Teaspoons carnaba wax

2 Tablespoons Beeswax beads (white)

1 Tablespooncastor oil

In a pot over the stove, melt all the ingredients together over a low heat.

Allow to cool.  It is ready for use.

Please note that this product does have an odour to it.  In cooler weather it does become slightly harder.

Applications:  Lipsticks, Balms, Lotions.

Viscosity builder for lotions, creams.  Emollient.

Idea - If you want a product that has a thinner viscositiy  you can omit the beeswax wax to achieve an ointment base.
