Corners bumped and lightly rubbed, otherwise the boards in good condition; very light shelf-wear: a couple of small, faint, insignificant markings on front and rear panel, but no edgewear. Title, author name and publisher crisp and bright on the spine. Endpapers foxed, both front and rear. Previous owner name on front free endpaper. Small bookshop sticker on pastedown. Light foxing on prelims and introductory pages; thereafter intermittent light foxing in the margins, with a couple of random, faint specks and small stains in margins. Small cross mark in pen p46; small pen scratch p59; corner of p112 folded, corner of opposite page foxed. Binding secure, no loose or missing pages, no tears.
Jacket shelf-worn but not in bad shape; tiny specs of pale paint on front panel; has a couple of vertical closed tears (40mm max) into the spine, hinges and top edge, with small chips only. Rear panel and inside foxed. Price-clipped.
