Peter Pepper chillies have a bell ringing, mild to medium heat level of between 10,000-23,000SHU and are really good to eat with a spicy flavour. Their thick-walled fleshy pods are great fresh, frozen or dried to make chilli flakes or powder.

The Peter Pepper can be traced back to Eastern Tennesse, America in the 1700’s where the Alfrey family found a mutant pepper on a plant and through centuries of successive breeding it is been commercially discovered and is now one of the most talked about peppers.
