This item is secondhand and in good antique condition with one small dent to the body and a larger dent at the bottom of the body.  This beautiful silver tankard was made in Sweden, Stockholm in 1898 and has a cylindrical form. A Swedish memorial coin is shown on the cover's highest plateau. The inscription on the coin reads 'Oscar II Sveriges Och Norges Konung' and has a portrait of Oscar II. The tankard is balanced on three silver spherical feet that have been cast and attached to it. The gilding that had been added to the inside of the tankard when it was first made shows some wear.  The tankard measures 15 cm in height, 11,5 cm in diameter, weighs 702 grams and is fully hallmarked.
