In good condition for it's age. The porcelain mark on the underside
was used from 1878. It is what looks like an urn and the name
Wedgwood. Later pieces had England or made in England.
There is no doubt in my mind this piece is extremely old. My
feeling is it is Victorian. Comments or input very welcome.
Measures cup height 6.5cm, the diameter at the rim is 7cm and the
length including the handle is 9.5cm. The diameter of the saucer
is 13cm
Also has the number Y2531. I have two other duos. One is hairlined
both cup & saucer and the other has crazing cracks in the saucer
Just to mention some of the marking are clearer on some of the
items than other ones and this has enabled me to know what
the markings are.
