Exquisite, elegant Royal Delft mini vase from 'De Porceleyne Fles'

'De Porceleyne Fles' is the best known and most respected Delft factory in the Netherlands, founded in 1635. It is the only remaining factory of the 32 earthenware factories that were established in Delft, Holland in the 17th century. 'De Porceleyne Fles' has also been known as Royal Delft or Koninklijke Delft since 1919, when it received a Royal warrant from the Queen in appreciation for the quality of its products:

On the base of each article by Royal Delft you will find the mark which guarantees that the item is genuine, entirely hand painted Delftware by Royal Delft:

1. a small apothecary bottle under which the blended initials 'JT' for Joost Thooft, the owner of the factory in 1876 and the word Delft.
2. on the left of this mark the initials of the painter are added and
3. on the right one or two characters that indicate the year of manufacture.
