This is a superb piece ... the plate is a LARGE 28cm wide.

It has a metal back. The entire area of the plate is set with arrangements of genuine butterfly wings. It would have taken a LOT of butterflies to have made this piece! The decoration is overlaid with glass.

The piece looks stunning in real life -- sadly the glass causes a reflection in the photos. It is in good condition tthere is just some slight dis-colouration on the metal parts (at the back of the plate)
