Exquisitely Detailed Small Ceramic Foo Dogs on Plinths (Pair)

A finely crafted pair of oriental majolica-glazed guardian lions (foo dogs), each mounted on a small plinth. These delicate ceramics measure approximately 6.5 cm by 4.5 cm, standing 12.5 cm high.

Exceptionally detailed with intricate sculpting and vibrant glazing.
One plinth has a very tiny glaze chip on the bottom, visible only as a small white dot (see listing photo 12).
Otherwise, both pieces are in excellent condition with no cracks or missing parts.
Minor fine grazing present, not visible in photos and not detectable by fingernail.
No large cracks or damage.

A rare and beautiful pair, perfect for collectors of oriental ceramics or guardian lion figurines.
