English makers, Carlton Ware, from their appealing Vert Royale range.

This elegant piece has been modelled into the wonderfully organic shape of a stylised leaf, with an elegantly waved rim and scrolled handle. Stylish fluting to the interior of the bowl creates the flowing veins of the leaf while magnificently enhancing the sparkle of the luscious green glaze. Lavish gilt gold trims edge the scalloped rim, scrolled handle and trims the foot.

This piece stands proudly on a squat foot which beautifully elevates this elegant piece.

This piece has been finished in a magnificent rich green glaze which
graduates smoothly to a darker edge, adding beautiful depth to the design.

This piece is presented in excellent vintage condition with no
chips, cracks or repairs. The gilt trims remain in fabulous condition.
