EXTREMELY RARE AND AWESOMELY STUNNING "THE FOLEY CHINA" TEA TRIO c1900. THIS ANTIQUE FINE BONE CHINA TEA TRIO WAS MANUFACTURED BY THE WELL-REPUTED WILEMAN/SHELLEY POTTERY IN FENTON, STAFFORDSHIRE.  IT CARRIES THE "THE FOLEY CHINA " BACKSTAMP, WHICH WAS USED BETWEEN 1894 AND 1910 AND ALSO DEPICTING THE NUMBER, RD 208329. THE DESIGN IS A DELIGHTFUL PASTEL BLUE AND PINK FLORAL PATTERN ON CREAM AND WHITE. ALL EDGES ARE DEEPLY SCALLOPED AND GILDED, OF WHICH THERE IS AMAZINGLY NO WEAR. IT IS WELL-PRESERVED AFTER MORE THAN 100 YEARS OF EXISTENCE IN A PRISTINE CONDITION WITH NO CHIPS, CRACKS OR ANY CRAZING.     

IN TERMS OF DIMENSIONS, THE FLUTED, FLARING OUT CUP STANDS 5.5 CM TALL. THE SAUCER IS 14 CM IN DIAMETER AND THE BREAD OR CAKE PLATE IS 18 CM IN DIAMETER.
