These bulbs were extremely difficult to import, it took 8 months to get them, if I had not been so fanatical about getting them for myself, it would never have happened. Finally I was able to get them via a nursery owner in Great Britain, who got them from bulb growers in Holland.

Fritillarias are planted in autumn to flower in spring. They love semi-shaded areas and can be planted in pots, they multiply readily.

Any well drained soil will do.

They grow 15-20 cm high.

The bulbs up for sale has started to sprout as we are 6 month out of sinc with the Northern hemisphere, but if they are kept in a brown bag in the refrigerator till end February they will be fine as they require light and heat to develop further.
