I am listing a complete Denomination set of Chinese dragon coins from the tiny 5 cent (36 candareens) to the Huge Dragon Dollar (7 mace and 2 Candareens), so if you are interested in these coins then please check out my other listings By Clicking Here.
This coin is about the size of a South African silver half crown
When this coin was submitted to NGC they didn't encapsule it because of Altered Surfaces (See the surface marks and damage caused by the mounting of the coin long ago)
However, they would certainly have said if it was a forgery (which they didn't) so it is almost certainly a genuine coin.
Please see the examples below of the same kind of coin that sold on auction. These coins are not in a good condition but they were very expensive.
PCGS genuine harshly cleaned EF details, sold for $1,440 (R27,000) (lot 60061, August 2018)
PCGS genuine Tooled EF details, sold for $3,360 (R63,000) (lot 42034, May 2020)
Both were sold on the renowned Auction house, Stack's Bowers galleries.
This is a relisting due to non-payment, please do not buy our coins or make offers on them if you do not intend to pay.
