Circa 1865 - 1899 Liebig Fleisch Extract (German)
Please note this is an extremely rare item. They do not appear on the open market often and if they do sell for thousands.
Liebig fleisch extract (German meat) syrup or fluid beef
Founded by Baron Justus von Liebig & George Christian Giebert 1865
1899 product renamed from Liebig extract of meat to OXO as we know it today.
Made from solid brass and copper with wooden handles. The taps still work. Please note for an apparatus of this age you can expect all round wear to the brass / copper. The porcelain bowl inside the apparatus is cracked but I have asked around and it can be restored / repaired. If not for this would be selling this item for a lot more.
Porcelain bowl is marked H. Sumerling Patent No 1
Item measures approx 64cm in height (Including lid) with a base diameter of approx 25.5cm (Solid heavy item)
