EYE-CATCHING DIAMOND CROSS-OVER WHITE 9ct GOLD RING. BIRMINGHAM ASSAY

    

  

   

Here's a rather lovely piece from England that a little unusual in its design. The ring head features two wide bands of 9 carat white gold that cross over in a ribbon-like design. There are 42 x 1mm round natural diamonds that have been claw set into the ribbon strands. The gold is solid but the jeweller has incorporate an interesting die-cut feature into the centre of the gold strands. Its a design that is clean cut and modern in appeal but with a beautiful feminine air. It's a good weight (4 grams) and the ring head where the ribbon strands connect stretches 14 mm up the finger. It will fit a fairly large finger T/quarter. Its a lovely easy to wear ring that lies snug and flat on the finger. it would make an interesting alternative to a wedding ring.
 
This ring bears the hallmarks '375' for 9ct yellow gold, the Birmingham assay, the jeweller's signature and the date mark for 2002. The diamonds have been jeweller checked and authenticate and a little certificate of authenticity will accompany the ring.
