The vivid colour of the fire opals in this piece make it unmissable! A trilogy of glorious glowing orange oval faceted fire opals are claw set in yellow gold, vertical, but running in a diagonal across the head of the ring. Bracketed by a row of 4 round set fire opals on either side, these are then in turn, flanked on the shoulders by 2 round faceted diamonds claw set in white gold within a long curved triangular shape with a raised yellow gold border. The solid 9ct yellow gold shank is softly rounded, holding the cage-like structure of elongated claws that raise the gemstones 5mm above the finger. 17mm wide x 9mm long, the ring head has two clear tiers, with openwork between the rows of oval- and round-cut opals. The pedigree of the piece is evidenced in the 9K hallmark indicating 9ct yellow gold, the jeweller's signature and the Birmingham Assay mark. Please note the small ring size.
