PLEASE NOTE : You need to have the ez flash to use the expansion pack - only the expansion pack can be used for gba games on the nds lite. You can use it on it's own if you're going to use a gameboy console though. If you want to try the expansion pack on it's own, you must use homebrew to write to the EZ-Flash 3 in 1. Please see http://kotei.blog.so-net.ne.jp/ for a utility for setting up the 3 in 1 as either a GBA cartridge, rumble adapter, or DS Browser RAM pack. Apparently the R4 can also be used with the expansion pack with the utility download, but this info I got off the internet, so can't guarantee it will work, but the general consensus is that it does. GBA function: it's equipped with 256Mbit Norflash, 2Mbit SRAM, so it's compatible with almost every GBA game (except those which need special hardware).
Advantages:
1. the data still remains after power off.
2. can be used as a standalone GBA card in a gameboy console
3. perfect GBA/NDS linker
Browser RAM expansion function: it uses the highspeed ram cache as the offical one. Perfectly compatible with NDS Browser(JAP/EUR)
Rumble function: Works with all official rumble enabled games. It also has three level vibration strength adjustment ability.
