It functions as a completely independent security system. This camera is a highly flexible, standalone unit that does not require an expensive Network Video Recorder (NVR) or base station to operate. It records high-definition video directly to an internal MicroSD card (purchased separately) and connects directly to your home Wi-Fi network. However, if your security needs expand in the future, you don't need to replace itthis camera is fully compatible with an EZVIZ 8-Channel Wireless NVR, allowing you to link multiple cameras together for centralised, continuous recording onto a dedicated surveillance hard drive.
