This painting, frame and convex glass covering the painting have considerable age. It appears to be an oil on paper. The painting with a plaque with the name of the artist F Valente. Depicting a fisherman on the banks of a winding river and a boat on the river, with buildings in the background. The impressive details and vibrant colors makes for a stunning work of art that will be fabulous on display, it will certainly add interest and charm to any setting. With frame it measures 33x27cm, painting only measures 22.5x17cm. Notice a few spots where the oil paint has chipped off the paper leaving small spots of the white background and the edges a bit frayed, but for an item this old, this is expected. Notice a few feint age related foxing spots on the painting as well.
