F5148 - ORIGINAL Boer War Intelligence Map - MAFEKING 1st Edition 1900 - EXTREMELY RARE!!!

Size:  62,3 cm x 50,3 cm

Linen-backed by previous collector to reinforce the map or possibly in preparation for framing.  Compiled for Field Intelligence Department Cape Town April 1900.  Signed by the Compiler - John Wood and the Director of Military Intelligence - Colonel G.F.R. Henderson.  However, due to the bottom right corner of this map being missing, Col. Hernderson's signature isn't on this map.

For its age (112 years) this map is still in a FAIR condition - the edges are damaged, as well as the top left block.  The right top and bottom corners are missing.  Here and there "creases" may be visible.  There may also be some staining visible.  Before placing your bid, please look closely at the close-up images in case there is any damage / mark we might have missed.
