FF stands for Filtering Face Piece, and the P1 indicates it is for Large Solid and Liquid particles.

To remain effective they should be changed every 4-8hours depending on level of use.

(The wetter they become because of moisture from your breath results in them being less effective)

To extend work life it is suggested that you wear a Disposable face mask underneath provided you can get the fit properly (Sold separately)

It is important that the Dust Filter Mask is fitted properly to begin with, otherwise you are wasting time and money.
