Large soft cover, published in 1978 by Harry N. Abrams, Inc, New York, published unpaginated. This is an illustrated compendium (Peacock Press/Bantam Books, New York) of faerie mythology, legends and folklore. The title Faeries, is spelled in the archaic fashion and does not refer to fairies only, but encompasses a wide range of mythological creatures. The authors cover folklore from all over, but most of the contents are from France, England, Scotland and Ireland. Front cover loose from rest for 5 centimeters at bottom, with a small nick to top of spine. On inside of front page is a sticker of previous owner. No loose pages, clean inside. Small creases to front page corners. Front and back covers are shelf rubbed. No overseas shipping.
