Zampona Pan Pipes This lovely set of Double Zampona Pan Pipes from Peru contains 2 rows of 7 and 6 individual notes, produced from reeds of various lengths, neatly held together with Peruvian textile and decorated with colourful pom poms. The longest pipe measures approx 12 inches. The Shortest Pipe approx 3.75 inches. The introductory notation sheet that comes in the box describes ARCA (The Back row) notes as: A, F, D#, B, G#, F & C#. IRA (The Front Section) is composed of notes: G, E, C#, A#, G & D#. There is also basic guidance to playing melodies. This Fair Trade product would be suitable for children and adults alike. The instrument produces beautiful soft tones evocative of South America. Comes in a gift box and contains notes on how to play the instrument. Please note colours are variable.
