1900 GOLD POND restruck in 22 carat gold in the 1960s

This coin is uncirculated and weighs just less than 8 grams and was struck in 22 carat gold.

 

 

"The above and below photos are a Fake 1900 Kruger Pond also known as the Perfect Fake as it is supposed to be better than the original. It is very noticeable as at first it just looks so good. "It is an important part of South Africa ZAR coin history. The dies where "removed from the Mint" and worked on. The resultant 1900 Kruger Pond coins were originally passed off as the new found Kruger millions. At some point it was found out that they were in fact forgeries of the "Loaned out dies".
