Book condition: The boards are crisp, clean, and not faded. Gilt lettering on spine intact. Corners sharp. Very light rubbing to foot of spine. Very light foxing and one or two tiny stains to edges of text block. Front endpapers (maps) intact; two tiny spots of foxing on rear endpapers (maps), otherwise intact. Age-toning on pp 180-181 due to a bookmark. Small yellow-brown stain in the margin migrating through pp. 304-311. Otherwise internally clean. No inscriptions, no underlining or highlighting, no annotations or marginalia. Binding is secure; text is complete: no missing, loose, or torn pages.
