Characterful and fun this pewter tankard designed for the "Hartlepool Mail" has lots of dings to lend charm & authenticity. It depicts the Legend of the poor ship-wrecked monkey hanged because he was mistaken for a French spy during the Napoleonic war- hilarious. Great ice-breaker, and also very collectible. 13cm high, base 10.5 and top 8cm.
