This item is secondhand and in good condition. It is mounted on a wood backing which measures 37,5 x 13,5 cm and is a cast iron grinding mechanism. A porcelain container with a metal lid sits atop, and a plastic canister below. The beans are added to the porcelain portion and filter down to the grinder, where the beans are hand crank ground into the plastic canister. The canister slides out holding the ground coffee. It has the letter 'P.D.' embossed on it. Though it has not been tested, the crank moves so there is no reason to believe it would not work. There is a small amount of residual coffe inside.
