I think that this a WW1 British army canteen from research on the internet. I did notice that very few were available for sale on the internet. All the parts seem to be original. The canteen is enamel coated, with a worn cloth. The leather strap is in very good condition with no cracking or tears. The cork has a pewter top.
This is a FANTASTIC item not to be missed!!!
