Fanvil PA2S SIP Paging Gateway
The Fanvil PA2S is a compact SIP paging, audio and video intercom gateway designed for public-address, security and industrial communication applications. It brings paging, two-way intercom, broadcasting, recording, camera linkage and external device control together in a flexible unit that can be integrated into a wider SIP-based communication system.
Connect Paging Equipment to a SIP Network
The PA2S uses standard SIP, RTP and RTSP protocols, allowing compatible paging and intercom equipment to operate across an IP network. Support for two SIP lines, auto-answering, speed dial and multicast makes it suitable for live announcements, scheduled communication and emergency-call applications.
Flexible Audio Connections
A passive speaker can be connected directly to the integrated mono amplifier, with output ranging from 5 W to 30 W depending on the speaker impedance and power source. A separate adjustable line output supports an external active speaker or amplifier, while the configurable microphone and line input accommodates compatible audio sources.
Wideband G.722 and Opus codecs support clear voice transmission, complemented by full-duplex hands-free audio with acoustic echo cancellation. MP3 broadcasting is also supported for prerecorded announcements and messages.
Video and Security Integration
The dedicated camera network port enables linkage with a compatible IP camera for video intercom applications. The PA2S also supports NVR video recording and provides a short-circuit input and output with a built-in relay, helping integrators connect compatible buttons, sensors or control equipment.
Emergency and Programmable Controls
A programmable DSS key connection allows an external button and indicator LED to be incorporated into a custom installation. This can be used to create applications such as emergency call points, help stations, service counters and industrial communication terminals.
Flexible Power and Installation
The gateway can receive power through its PoE-enabled network port or from a compatible 12 V to 24 V DC power source. Its compact aluminium-alloy housing can be placed on a desktop or mounted on a wall, making it practical for space-constrained and custom-built installations.
Centralised Management
A web management portal supports configuration and maintenance without requiring direct access to the unit. The PA2S also supports firmware upgrades, configuration import and export, Syslog and automatic provisioning through FTP, TFTP, HTTP, HTTPS, DHCP Option 66, SIP PnP and TR-069.
