Green cloth covered boards with gilt titles to spines, gilt titles and vignettes to top boards. Volume 1 with vignette of the ship 'Fram'lume two with "Northwards Through the Snow". Edges rough cut, some leaves unopened towards the end of vol 2. Foxing, especially to prelim pages and lightly scattered throughout, corners bumped and heads and tails of spines frayed. A handsome set nevertheless, with all plates and maps present.
