fascinating lot: kit bag full of medic tools, apparel and personal belongings

This really is a gem of a find!  I bought this as

a "mystery lot" on a general sale live auction a long time ago.  At the time I was

mostly interested in the kit bag, but now I think it would be best to dispose of it along with the contents.

It seems to me that the items must have belonged to a paratrooper medic, but I have to confess that I am not altogether sure.

The auction consists of a kit bag in good condition, filled with lots and lots of odds and ends.  Among other items, the bag contains the following:

1.  Several items that appear to be the tools of a field medic.  These tools consists of high quality forceps, scalpel, syringe, needles, scissors, vacuum stints, etc;

2.  Blood pressure meter;

3.  Items of clothing including berets, socks, lapels, etc;

4.  Personal memorabillia of the original owner, including photos, postcards, birthday cards etc;

5.  Note book with hand written training notes on different scenarios;

6.  Some vials which seem to contain some kind of medicine, pills and/or salves - along with bandages, rolls of gauze, etc;

7.  A magazine of some type of firearm;

8.  Lots of other items that I simply do not know or recognize.

The bag is almost full and quite heavy.  The winner of the auction will be responsible to arrange appropriate shipping and/or collection.
