 This ornate piece is beautifully handcrafted in sterling silver and features a bezel-set oval moonstone, opaque and polished, like an incredible cloudy sky. Surrounding the bezel is a triple strand of twisted rope, each facing in alternate directions. Reaching far down on each shoulder are two mirror-image serpentines in raised polished sterling silver, accompanied by tiny silver baubles as accents. The decorative details on the piece are accented by a smoky, aged effect that enhances the 3-dimensionality of the details. The shank is narrower under the finger for comfort, broadening swiftly to the 25mm measurement across the broad shoulder and into the ring head. The ring head measures 21mm long x 25mm wide, and weighs a hefty 8 grams, bearing the 925 hallmark for sterling silver. A fabulous piece featuring a particularly lovely natural gemstone.
