David Leitch directs this spin-off action drama from the 'Fast and Furious' franchise set two years after the events in 'Fast & Furious 8' (2017). Still holding resentment for each other after Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham) was put in jail by Luke Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson), the tough duo have no choice but to work together when an MI6 agent-turned-terrorist threatens to unleash a deadly virus. With Shaw's sister, MI6 agent Hattie (Vanessa Kirby) in possession of the virus after she stole it from terrorist Brixton Lore (Idris Elba), Hobbs and Shaw must team up to protect Hattie and keep the biological weapon out of the wrong hands.
Brixton, however, has been genetically enhanced and Hobbs & Shaw might just meet their match at last. Will they be able to save Hattie from the wrath of Brixton and put a stop to him before it's too late?
