Faux Wood Carved Plaque, "Kloster Ettal".


Lovely vintage souvenir plaque, Carving is of The "Kloster Ettal" (Ettal Abbey),  Benedictine monastery in the village of Ettal in Bavaria, Germany. It is made of a plaster or resin material, but it appears to have been carved from wood. It is wonderfully and skilfully detailed. There are no maker's marks on the plaque that I can find. Measures 18cm
