A Rare and Collectable item which is - "A Silent Butler -- a container with a handle and a hinged cover, used for collecting table crumbs". This item is manufactured by FB ROGERS & Co and has the Crest inscribed upon the Lid. The Crest consists of a Stag and a Unicorn facing each other with the words "MAJOR AB ADVERSIS" in a scroll. Major ab Adversis means - "Greater From Adversity"

The item has a hinged Lid with an Intricate Ribbed pattern along the sides and a Beautifully ornate Thumb Tab for opening and closing the Lid.
