Your cat's face is a hub for pheromone messaging.
With pheromone producing glands in their forehead, chin, cheeks, around the mouth and at the base of their ears, facial rubbing is a common pheromone depositing behaviour.
Cats will often rub their faces on household objects, doorways, and even people and other pets to mark them as safe or familiar. Its a positive sign that your cat is happy, relaxed, and content in their environment and territory. Over time, this reassurance will build, as your cat will be drawn to re-mark their favourite and important places with up-to-date pheromones. If an environment lacks those secure facial pheromones, it may cause your cat to feel uncomfortable, or see unfamiliar objects or places as threatening.
When modern life conflicts with their natural needs, cats can feel stressed and anxious. When stressed or anxious they do not mark their environment with these happy messages anymore and may pee outside the litter box, scratch or hide as a result.

How to use:
-Remove the vial cap
-Screw the diffuser onto the vial
-Plug the diffuser into an electric socket and switch on continuously for one month after which the vial should be replaced
-FELIWAY CLASSIC Home Diffuser should be placed in the room most frequented by the cat or where marking has taken place
-For anticipated challenging situations (visitors at home, redecoration, fireworks, new kitten), the diffuser should be plugged in at least 24 hours before the events start, to expose the cat to the comforting pheromones before the event
-The diffuser should be plugged in preferably at floor level
-Leave the diffuser plugged in continuously for at least 4 weeks
-Ensure continuous comfort to the cat with FELIWAY CLASSIC by using a new refill every month
-The diffuser unit should be checked monthly and replaced every six months to ensure optimum effect
-Ensure there is a minimum clear distance above the diffuser of 1,20 meters; The oily vapour carrying FELIWAY happy messages rises in a column of warm air above the diffuser
-Plug in an outlet of its own
-It would block the diffusion if the diffuser is plugged in behind a door or underneath furniture or any socket without 1,20 meters clear above it
-For a large home, or for a multi-floor home, use several diffusers

-Please make sure your cat has an adequate number of litter boxes (one box per cat, plus one) and that they are cleaned daily
-Do not plug in upside down
-Do not use near air-conditioning units, vents, cold air returns or exhaust fans as it may increase the diffusion rate
-Do not plug in in hallways as cats spend very little of their time here
-Do not use any other plug-in air freshener, home fragrance spray, oil burner or diffuser in the same room as the product as it may affect the efficacy
