Fenugreek is part of the Trigonella genus and its scientific name is Trigonella foenum-graecum.

Commonly used in curry powder and Oriental dishes. This easy to grow herb can also be used medicinally for digestion; it should be avoided by pregnant women, however. Directly seed in a sunny garden location. Height – 1½ – 2 feet. Annual.

It is a herb and is treated mainly as an annual, so it grows best over the course of a single year.

Normally grows with a forb habit.

Turkey is believed to be where Fenugreek originates from.

Fenugreek is great for inexperienced gardeners and those that like low maintainance gardens.
