Charming CMF model of the 1960 Le Mans winning Ferrari Testa Rossa V12 spider driven by Frere and Gendebien.
Ferrari dominated Le Mans from 1958 to 1965, although it was epically beaten by Aston Martin n 1959. This 250TR was used by Ferrari from 1957 till 1961. Called the Testa Rossa due to its red cylinder heads, it became a name synonymous with Ferrari sportscars.
It also won the World Sportscar Constructors championship in 1958; 1960 and 1961.
Produced by specialist German model maker CMF this model was limited to 100 items worldwide. Now almost impossible to find and obviously rare. A collector's piece.
A worthy addition to any Le Mans or Ferrari collection.
In mint condition and supplied in its original box also perfect and complete with its black outer sleeve.
From my private collection.
