Ficus is a genus of about 850 species of woody trees, shrubs and vines. Collectively known as fig trees or figs, they are native throughout the tropics with a few species extending into the semi-warm temperate zone.

Growing to 30m this fig has strangler buttressed roots in large trees. Smooth light grey bark with heart-shaped leaves and large purple green fruits. Makes a fantastic potted plant.
